What the heck is this you ask?
Well let us explain it...
Think about your ordinary book club experience... Every member has read the nominated book of the month, then you meet and discuss the story... right?
Now add the virtual world of the internet! The Bad Girls Blog it Better Book Club spans three continents, so how do we make this work? Lets just say that apps like Skype and Oovoo play an integral role in bringing us altogether!
So then what happens? Well you see, what happens is that we CHAT, LAUGH and CRY and we realize that we are all after the same thing, to be drawn into a story. One that evokes emotions, differences of opinion, and passion in its readers, and we hope that we find this in the books that we review.
That said... in the event we don't find what we are looking for, we still chat, and laugh, and cry (from laughing) while we try to understand each others accents and the language differences, then we compare our cultures, particularly the HOT guys, occasionally we entertain ourselves with strange sayings (well, more than occasionally!) and at the end...
We somehow manage to produce a review of our book of the month that is honest and a true reflection of the girls that make up this blog... there is a little bit of all of us in the end product!
So while you get ready to see what this experience brings... because it wont be long now.. take the time and get your own thoughts ready about our book for July!
